From Joyce White, Institute for Southeast Asian Archaeology
Until February 5th, you can use the attached flyer coupon to get a 30% discount on the Ban Chiang metals volumes 2A, 2B, and 2C. Please share widely in your networks. Volume 2C is now available, and I can’t wait to see it on my return to Philadelphia. It has a meaty chapter by Vince Pigott on TAP work, a chapter by Oli Pryce, as well as regional and synthetic chapters and a foldout on relative chronology for central and northeast Thailand metal age sites.
As I did with volume 2A, I will post chapters on the ISEAA website after Penn Press’s one year embargo. So volume 2B in March and 2C in January 2021. Note that only hard copy has glossaries, indices, appendices, etc. 2D is in preparation but we expect a 2020 copyright.
Remember, those who line up journal reviews get free copies! If you or your colleagues line up a review, let me know if you need any help to facilitate getting the volume(s). The books are written for the general archaeologist including students, as an effort to get archaeometallurgy in discussions in the larger archaeological community (not just specialists).
