via Khmer Times, 11 February 2020: The pedestal belongs to the six-foot dvarapala statue that was found there three years ago from the team in Singapore.
Apsara Authority’s Artistic Conservation and Maintenance Working Group confirmed today that the pedestal which was unearthed at a temple belonged to the huge guard statue found three years ago in Siem Reap province.
The Research Institute of Technology of Cambodia and the Singapore Institute of Southeast Asian Studies conducted an excavation at Prasat Tonle Snguot temple and unearthed six pieces of the guard statue with head, arms, legs, and earrings on July 30, 2017.
