via Bangkok Post, 04 March 2020: I posted about the World Heritage Fair earlier this week. It is sadly the latest casualty of the Covid-19 outbreak.
The Ayutthaya World Heritage Fair 2019, scheduled for March 13-22, has been postponed indefinitely due to the coronavirus threat.
The fair is usually held in the middle of December every year. Because of budgetary constraints, the Ayutthaya World Heritage Fair 2019 was put off until March 13-22.
Because of the Covid-19 threat, an urgent meeting of the organising committee, chaired by provincial governor Panu Yaemsri, was held yesterday.
