via ABS-CBN News, 13 March 2020: The National Museum of the Philippines announces closures indefinitely due to the Covid-19 outbreak.
The National Museum of the Philippines will be closed to the public starting March 13 until further notice due to the threat of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
The announcement was made on the National Museum’s official Facebook page late Thursday.
The shutdown includes all museums in the National Museum network in all over the country.
All previously announced events and activities are also postponed until further notice, the National Museum said.
