Archaeologists have discovered many objects connected with the life of prehistoric humans while surveying several caves in the heart of Ba Be National Park in northern Vietnam.
54 relics were unearthed at Tham Khit Cave, including stone tools and axes which are attributed to the late Palaeolithic Age, around 20,000 years ago.
In addition to Tham Khit, archaeologists from the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences and the Bac Kan Museum also examined several nearby caves and found almost 100 other objects dating back to between 2,000 and 20,000 years ago.
