via Khmer Times, 12 November 2020: It would be great to visit Angkor Wat again and see the new greenery.
Aspara Authority announced the completion of its Angkor Wat garden project yesterday.
Residents and tourists have shared their satisfaction with the developments that include gardens, trees, wildflowers and rejuvenated shops and parking lots.
Aspara Authority started the renovation project at the end of 2019, which includes the preparation of a new garden and hospitality area made possible by relocating stalls to avoid clutter and disorderly parking.
Sean Sokhak, a tour guide in Angkor area, said that the improvement of the complex is useful for the tourism sector, especially the inclusion of uncommon trees such as Tnung and Beng trees to attract tourists and make them aware of these rare species.
