Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (TSGM) has launched a website for “Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum Archives Preservation and Digitisation Project”.
Organised by the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) and the United Nations Educational, Science and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) in partnership with the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts of Cambodia and the TSGM, the launching ceremony was attended by a number of honourable guests including Mrs Phoeurng Sackona, Minister of Culture and Fine Arts, Park Heung-kyeong, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Cambodia, Mr Rho Hyun Jun, Country Director of KOICA Cambodia Office, and Mr Alam Sardar Umar, Head of Office and UNESCO Representative to Cambodia, Mr Hang Nisay, Director of TSGM, and other national and international participants.
KOICA and UNESCO agreed to work together on the project “Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum Archives Preservation and Digitisation” from 2015 to 2020 with the grant aid of $1,150,000.
