Prime Minister Hun Sen has expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Culture for its efforts resulting in the return of more than 100 Cambodian artefacts over the past three years.
According to the Premier, this is the result of hard work in liaisons and negotiating led by the ministry.
“This achievement is the largest. Peace and political stability are the most pre-requisites for the mission of inviting the souls of Cambodian ancestors to return home,” he said, while thanking the people and the concerned stakeholders behind the return of all the artefacts.
Mr Hun Sen acknowledged this achievement in the country during his speech marking the 23rd National Cultural Day yesterday.
