According to an official, Indonesia’s historical temple Borobudur was temporarily sh[u]t amid an increase in Coronavirus infections.
The temple was shot after Magelang regency in Central Java province, where it is situated, was declared a red zone, stated Jamaludin Mawardi, the acting general manager of the temple.
Mawardi further declared that “This closure is to support the implementation of the micro Enforcement of Restrictions on Community Activities to prevent the spread of COVID-19, particularly in Magelang regency,” saying that the shutting is going to remain until its pandemic risk status decrease.
