Another one from the University of Sheffield – a free two-day digital conference for doctoral and early career researchers (ECRs) in osteoarchaeology and bioanthropology exploring the health implications of living in an urban environment. The deadline for the call for papers is 27 August 2021.
By exploring these health in urban/urbanizing archaeological populations across multiple geographic and temporal periods, the conference seeks to present diverse insights into the everyday health impacts of natural—and unnatural—risk factors.
Additionally, the conference aims to foster collaboration and community amongst tomorrow’s researchers, while addressing the unique problems imposed by the pandemic.
