via Nhan Dan, 23 July 2021: The stamps feature gold artefacts from Vietnam’s past, including royal seals and a 7th century Buddhist reliquary.
In order to contribute to promoting the value of national treasures to the public at home and abroad, on July 31, 2021, the Ministry of Information and Communications will jointly issue a set of stamps named “Vietnam’s national treasures: Gold treasures”.
Designed by artist Nguyen Du (Vietnam Post Corporation), the stamp set features four Vietnamese treasures made of gold, with a size of 37 x 37 (mm).

The final stamp of the set features a box containing sarira (Buddhist relics) in Thap Nhan relic. Dating from the 7th – 8th century, the national treasure is held and preserved at the Nghe An Museum. The entire box is made of pure gold and is delicately carved.
