via Khmer Times, 25 August 2021: The Apsara Authority carries out urgent work to stabilise the 9th century Ta Dong temple.
Apsara Authority has carried out urgent structural support work on Ta Dong temple in Siem Reap which is at risk of collapse.
Department of Conservation of Monuments in Angkor Park and Archeological Prevention technical officer Puth Soth said: “Without emergency support to Ta Dong temple, it would completely collapse within three or four years.”
Having assessed the risks of Ta Dong temple, the team began to set up the emergency supports along the eastern wall.
