via Khmer Times, 30 August 2021: Cambodia awaits for the team from Unesco to inspect Koh Ker, as part of its nomination into World Heritage.
The Ministry of Culture is waiting for UNESCO to visit Koh Ker Temple to complete the registration to be a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Cambodia will finish registering the ancient Temple as world Heritage site in July.
Director-general of the National Authority for Preah Vihear, Kong Puthika, who led the research on Koh Ker Temple, told Khmer Times on Thursday that Cambodia has already provided finalised documents to UNESCO since January 1, this year .
