via Vietnam Express, 13 September 2021: Cluster of Cham towers in Binh Dinh province to be restored.
Authorities in central Binh Dinh Province have approved a VND25.6-billion ($1.12 million) renovation of the iconic Banh It Towers.
The work, to be carried out in 2021-22, will include the construction of a building to admit tourists in and upgrades to infrastructure, parking lot and gardens, according to the province’s portal.An internal road leading to the towers will be paved with stones.
Once completed, local authorities expect to turn Banh It Towers, a tower cluster built by the Cham in the 10th century, into a popular tourist destination.
