Culture Minister Phoeurng Sackona highlighted the achievements of Cambodia’s culture sector and committed to preserve cultural heritage at the 41st General Conference of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in Paris.
King Norodom Sihamoni is also attending the conference from November 9 to 24 in Paris, France, in celebration of its 75th Anniversary.
Speaking at the conference yesterday, Sackona said that the government is committed to prioritising the national cultural sector, especially the protection of Cambodia’s World Heritage sites, expressed through financial support.
