via Khmer Times, 26 November 2021: Infrastructure works around the Sambor Prei Kuk world heritage site.
Minister of Culture and Fine Arts Phoeurng Sackona has ordered infrastructure and road works surrounding the Sambor Prei Kuk, the seventh-century temple of the Pre-Angkorian Chenla Kingdom to facilitate easy travel by domestic and international tourists to visit the UNESCO World Heritage site.
Going on the ground to visit the site yesterday, Sackona who inspected the construction of the Sambor Prei Kuk National Authority building and the construction of road around the temple area, urged the company, Ly Chhuong Construction Import & Export, undertaking the projects to use quality materials to do the construction works as per the agreement.
