Archaeologists have discovered a unique ancient foundation stone at Angkor Thom’s Takav Gate.
The discovery was made yesterday during restoration work at the gate in the western part of the temple.
Kim Sothin, deputy director-general of the Apsara National Authority, said it was the first time that archaeologists had discovered such a slab at the temple gate site during the repair work.
