via ABC Radio, 03 December 2022: Added the Virtual Angkor project to the Archaeological Projects in Southeast Asia and Virtual Archaeology pages.
The Virtual Angkor project produced by SensiLab at Monash University recreates the sprawling Cambodian metropolis of Angkor at the height of the Khmer empire’s power and influence around 1300 C.E. Last week, Matt Smith heard how the virtual reality project was created. Today, Matt slips on the goggles and is transported to the ancient city visiting a stone sculpture workshop.
