via Voice of Vietnam, 15 April 2023: A Vietnamese Buddhist architecture conference was organized by the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha last week along with an exhibition on Buddhist architecture which will be held until May 15.
The exhibition “Vietnamese Buddhist architecture – unity in diversity” is displaying 300 documents and images at the National Museum of History, 25 Tong Dan, Hanoi.
On display are typical features of Vietnamese Buddhist architecture, including landscape space, ground layout, and main functions, architecture of each sect and region, and recent architecture of urban pagodas, restored pagodas and newly built pagodas. The exhibition is open until May 15.
A Vietnamese Buddhist architecture conference was organized by the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, the Institute of Religious Studies, the Institute of Monuments Conservation, and the National Museum of History in Hanoi on Saturday.
