via Khmer Times, 30 June 2023: A resident of Siem Reap voluntarily handed over seven types of artifacts, including bracelets, a glass bottle, a plate, a bell, a knife, and an axe, to the Preah Norodom Sihanouk-Angkor Museum. The age of the bronze and iron artifacts is yet to be determined.
Phuy Savoeut, acting director of the Norodom Sihanouk-Angkor Museum, said the artefacts consisted of 12 objects: six small and large bracelets, one glass, water bottle, plate, bell, knife and an axe.
Savoeut added that the team is yet to determine the age of the artefacts that are found to be made of bronze and iron.
He said that the people who handed over told that two large bracelets originated from Battambang province while the others were from Oddar Meanchey province.
