via various sources, 05 October 2023: The APSARA Authority, responsible for overseeing Cambodia’s Angkor temple complex, has issued a warning to both national and international tourists about current weather conditions.
The current weather conditions may include rain, thunderstorms mixed with gusts of wind, which can cause landslides or break branches in some parts of the Angkor resort.
In this regard, APSARA Authority would like to appeal to the public, national and international tourists, drivers of all kinds and all transporters, to please increase caution during travel or visit the temples in the Angkor area.
In particular, please do not park all types of vehicles or stop under the trees to prevent risks that may cause injury or damage to property or may endanger lives.
