via The Nation, 19 October 2023: Wat Chaiwatthanaram, a key attraction in Ayutthaya Historical Park, has been illuminated with colorful lights as part of the “Ayutthaya…Sundown” tourism campaign. The temple will be lit every weekend and public holiday from 6:30 pm to 10 pm until year’s end. Visitors are encouraged to dress in traditional Thai attire and take photos against the backdrop of the ancient temple.
Under the campaign, the temple, which is located on the west bank of the Chao Phraya River, will be illuminated every Friday, Saturday, Sunday and public holiday from 6.30pm to 10pm until the end of the year to attract tourists.
