via Vietnam Express, 25 January 2024: Starting January 2024, six popular Hanoi attractions, including the Temple of Literature and Thang Long Imperial Citadel, have significantly increased their entrance fees, with some rates tripling. This adjustment, approved by the Hanoi People’s Council, aims to support the preservation and management of these cultural landmarks. Revenue from ticket sales will largely contribute to the state budget, with exemptions and discounts available for certain groups, and free access on designated cultural days.
