via Khmer Times, 09 February 2024: The APSARA Authority is adopting an eco-friendly approach to renovations in the Angkor area by using bamboo instead of plastic for fencing around restoration sites. This shift not only contributes to reducing plastic usage but also benefits the local community by providing more job opportunities and improving the environment within Angkor Park.
The APSARA Authority has turned to using bamboo instead of plastic as tents or curtains for fencing at repair sites in the Angkor area to help reduce the use of plastic.
Currently, the working team of APSARA National Authority is using natural materials such as bamboo, which will provide more jobs to local people and improve the environment at the working sites in Angkor Park.
