via Khmer Times, 01 March 2024: The Apsara National Authority is providing expertise and materials to assist the World Monument Fund in the restoration of Phnom Bakheng Temple. This collaboration, supported by a three-year Memorandum of Understanding, leverages the skills of stone experts, architects, and water system protection specialists with over a decade of experience.
The Apsara National Authority (ANA) has provided material and workers to the World Monument Fund (WMF) for restoration work at the Phnom Bakheng site.
Workers provided by ANA to assist the WMF include stone experts, architects, and water system protection experts. Each of them has at least 10 years of experience and expertise, according to the ANA yesterday.
Long Kosal, ANA spokesman, said that the contribution is to support WMF’s restoration work as well as a way to strengthen relations between the two organisations.
