via Khmer Times, 01 March 2024: The APSARA National Authority’s Tourism Service Control Team has implemented new safety measures at the Bayon Temple by installing caution signs in potentially hazardous areas. Bou Phaneth, the team leader, emphasized the importance of these signs in preventing accidents without compromising the temple’s aesthetic appeal.
The Tourism Service Control Team of the Department of Tourism Development and Culture of the APSARA National Authority has set up some caution signs to tell tourists to be careful in some locations of the Bayon Temple.
Bou Phaneth, head of the working team, said that his team inspected some locations that could cause tourists to be dangerous, such as falling, walking out of stones, and so on. To avoid any possible accidents, the team set up signs at high-risk points to inform national and international tourists in advance and to be very careful while visiting.
