We are saddened to hear about the recent passing of Prof. Emeritus Dato’ Dr. Nik Hassan Shuhaimi Nik Abdul Rahman, most recently of ATMA Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. Prof. Nik has written extensively about Malaysian archaeology – some 150 articles – and conducted many research projects in the Malayan Peninsula, notably the Bujang Valley in Kedah and Kalumpang Island in Perak.
