Angkor Enterprise reported a 38.2% rise in revenue from entrance pass sales, highlighting the park’s growing popularity. Enhanced airport facilities and Cambodia’s cultural allure contribute to this resurgence, with the Ministry of Tourism aiming to attract even more visitors through improved services and new tourism products.
Cambodia’s tourism industry is experiencing a significant resurgence, fueled by a surge in visitor numbers to the famed Angkor Archaeological Park.
The famed Angkor Archaeological Park, the most attractive tourism landscape in Cambodia, received 472,258 foreign tourists in the first five months this year, a year-on-year increase of 36.9 percent, a report from the Angkor Enterprise, oversees the Angkor Entrance Pass Sales, showed on Saturday.
The revenue generated from the entrance pass sales rose by 38.2 percent to $22.2 percent, read the report.
