SEAMEO SPAFA – my employer, but not for long – is hiring! We have an opening for a Researcher in Archaeology and the deadline is 25 July 2024. Note that the job title is a misnomer, as our researchers are more involved in planning and running programmes rather than academic research. a) Age between 25 – 35 years at time of application but will be considered together with other qualification in case of the age lower or higher than identified.
b) At least a Master’s degree in archaeology (preferably) or related fields (art and museology, anthropology, cultural resource management, etc.).
c) At least 2 years experience in the relevant fields.
d) Ability to plan, develop and undertake projects, and to provide leadership.
e) Proficiency in English both in writing and speaking.
f) Competent computer and internet skills.
