The history and culture of Viet Nam’s southern region was revealed in a display of 400 antiquities dating back thousands of years in an exhibition that opened yesterday in HCM City.
The antiquities showcased during the event indude ceramics, embossments, jars, vessels, axes, rings, earrings, and others. The items are made from wood, stone, soil, gold and silver.
The artifacts, collected by eight museums and 12 collectors, were picked from the beds of major southern rivers such as the Sai Gon, Dong Nai, Vam Co, Tien and Hau.
