- Did contact with the hobbits lead to a simplification of Austronesian languages in Flores? Bjørn Østman expands on this interesting, but unprovable idea.
- The James Family who are taking a round-the-world tour spend a day in Angkor Wat.
- Take a walk through ancient Majapahit in this video of the Bajang Ratu gate in Trowulan.
- Andy pays tribute to Choun Nhiem, the sweeper of Ta Prohm.
- The 400-year-old Cebu Cathedral gets an interior refurbish – check out the grand new altar in the Heritage of Cebu blog.
- It had to happen sometime, after all, there was Lego Indiana Jones, wasn’t there? Someone’s put a cute set of photos on lego archaeology.
In this series of ocassional rojaks (published on Wednesdays) I feature other sites in the blogosphere that are related to archaeology in Southeast Asia. Got a recommendation for the next Wednesday rojak? Email me!
Hehehehe!! I got all the Indiana Jones lego collection for Christmas!!! Yay!!! And last week two new sets were released and my boyfriend bought them for me!!! I have so much fun assembling the sets!!!!!
I really like the Raiders of the Lost Ark set (the opening scene temple) and the trike set with Indy and Senior – unfortunately, I’ve got no space to host any Indy legos, cos they’ve all been taken up by the Batman legos!
Hahahaha! Have you played Indiana lego game for Wii? 🙂 There’s also a Batman lego game!
don’t have a wii, sadly. haven’t gotten the indy game yet, although i have played the batman one (I’ve probably painted myself as a batman fan now)
Hey what’s up?
I saw that you were in some gaming webrings, and I wanted to let you know that we have a great webring that has some large benefits that other webrings just don’t have. We had our programmers work hard at making it our webring fix the problems with traditional webrings.
Gaming Connector provides you the ability to get high quality traffic referrals from other high quality websites. We also had our tech team develop the linking system so that the links pass link juice to your website (more links, means more Google rankings).
There’s a lot more beneficial features, and the webring is free to join.
