via GTWHI: George Town World Heritage Incorporated will be organising the Curation and Gallery Management Workshop to promote local cultural industries and traditions, as well as enhance awareness of our cultural heritage.
The workshop will be held on 2 and 3 November 2019 from 8.30am to 5pm at George Town World Heritage Incorporated, 116 & 118 Lebuh Acheh, 10200 George Town.
It aims to promote local cultural industries and traditions, raise public awareness and enhance appreciation on the cultural heritage of Melaka and George Town, empower local communities to develop, brand and promote the cultural assets of Melaka and George Town, and assist participants in exploring curation and interpretation methods to promote their cultural heritage and products.
To be facilitated by Ms Allison Russell, Director of Assets and Operations of National Trust of South Australia, the workshop is open to cultural heritage artisans and practitioners, cultural entrepreneurs, and those interested to promote the cultural heritage of George Town and Melaka.
