A museum in Lai Chau has collected 18 stone and some terra-cotta items dating back 3000-4000 years ago along the Da River.
Some officials of Lai Chau’s Muong Te district went to examine 18 stone-made tools at the home of a man name Quyn in Nam Hang commune in early June.
Archeologists speculate that these are tools of Neolithic Era – Bronze Age people. The set included several types of axes, hoes, spades and arrows.
