A contract position available at the Chinese University of Hong Kong beginning no later than 31 July 2021. Deadline is 12 January 2021.
Applicants should have (i) a master’s degree with two to four years’ post-qualification experience or a doctoral degree in archaeological science; (ii) substantial experience in research and project coordination; (iii) a strong sense of responsibility and self-motivation; (iv) the ability to conduct independent analysis; and (v) proficiency in English and Chinese.
The appointee will be responsible for (a) conducting research and analyzing archaeological data; (b) assisting in preparing research reports and manuscripts; (c) conducting short-term field investigations on archaeological heritage sites in China and Southeast Asia; and (d) coordinating research related activities such as seminar, and exhibition as assigned by the research team.
Appointment will be made on contract basis for one year commencing not later than 31 July 2021.
