Apsara Authority has reopened the Kandal Sras Srang Temple at the Angkor Archaeological Park in Siem Reap province to the public, following the completion of restoration works.
The completion of the nine-month restoration project was marked during a ceremony yesterday which was presided over by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Assembly-Senate Relations and Inspections Men Sam An, Minister of Culture Phoeurng Sackona and representatives of Apsara Authority.
Apsara Authority’s spokesman Long Kosal said that during the restoration, they had built a steel bridge for temporary use to facilitate access to the area and it would be removed soon.
