via Khmer Times, 06 January 2022: I had mentioned this museum in May last year, the project seems to have stalled and now restarted.
Plans to open Siem Reap’s first immersive 3D museum are underway again after the project, dedicated to Khmer heritage, was twice postponed in 2021.
“The project is still on,” says Confluences CEO Soreasmey Ke Bin, one of three companies involved in the project. “We will finally present it officially to the Cambodian authorities on January 21 during the International Coordination Committee (ICC) meeting.”
Soreasmey adds that the project is now bigger, with a new financial and third partner signing on as main investor.
