เคยมีคำกล่าวที่ว่า ทุกสิ่งบนโลกใบนี้ล้วนมีร่องรอยและมีที่มา

หลายๆ คนคงเคยสงสัยว่า มนุษย์เราสามารถเดินทางข้ามเวลากลับสู่อดีตได้จริงหรือไม่ หรือการย้อนกลับไปในกาลเวลาจะมีแค่ในละครเท่านั้น

การย้อนเวลาที่ว่า อาจจะไม่ใช่ทะลุกระจกข้ามภพกลับไปเหมือนอย่างในละครหรือขึ้นไทม์แมชชีนกลับไปยังจุดเวลาที่เราต้องการ แต่ ‘การย้อนเวลาสู่อดีต’ ในที่นี้ ในทางปฏิบัติคือการสืบค้นร่องรอยจากสิ่งของ โบราณสถาน หรือแม้แต่วัฒนธรรมที่สืบทอด โดยอาศัยเครื่องมือต่างๆ หลักฐาน งานวิจัยที่จะพาอดีตกลับมาสู่ความเป็นปัจจุบัน

ศ. ดร.รัศมี ชูทรงเดช นักโบราณคดีสมัยก่อนประวัติศาสตร์ ผู้ซึ่งถูกขนานนามว่าเป็น ‘นักสืบแห่งกาลเวลา’ กับผลงานชิ้นโบแดงที่สร้างชื่อเสียงให้กับวงการโบราณคดีเมืองไทย อีกทั้งยังเป็นประธานในการจัดงาน IPPA หรือ Indo-Pacific Prehistory Association งานที่นักโบราณคดีระดับโลกเดินทางมารวมตัวกันเพื่อสืบค้นร่องรอยแห่งอดีตซึ่งจะจัดขึ้นที่จังหวัดเชียงใหม่ในช่วงเดือนพฤศจิกายน 2565

อาจารย์รัศมีจะมาบอกเล่าถึงความสนุกและเสน่ห์ของวงการโบราณคดีที่ไม่เคยน่าเบื่อ รวมถึงความตื่นเต้นและความประทับใจตลอดระยะการทำงานทั้งชีวิตที่ไม่เคยหยุดค้นหาความจริง
