via Phnom Penh Post, 02 December 2022: The 30th anniversary of Angkor’s inscription into World Heritage will be observed with a three-day event this year.
The Apsara National Authority (ANA) will hold a three-day remembrance event at the Angkor Archaeological Park from December 14-16 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Angkor Wat inscription on UNESCO World Heritage List in 1992.
In a December 2 notice, the ANA said that during the opening ceremony of the event, people can join in offering alms to 130 monks in front of Angkor Wat.
The event will feature art performances by troupes from the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts. The performances will be held behind Angkor Wat and are open to all.
