via Tempo, 14 June 2023: Japanese Emperor Naruhito and Empress Owada Masako will visit Indonesia from June 17-23, 2023, aiming to strengthen ties between the two nations.
Japanese Emperor Naruhito is set to visit Indonesia on June 17-23, 2023, which is aimed at strengthening ties between the two countries. This will be their first official visit to Indonesia.
“Through this visit, we hope to strengthen our friendly relationship with Indonesia,” the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs official said at an online press briefing followed in Jakarta, Tuesday, June 13.
Empress Owada Masako will accompany the Emporer during the seven-day visit to Jakarta, Bogor, Bekasi, and Yogyakarta.
