via GMA News Online, 12 December 2023: The National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP) recently launched the Memory Project, a new website offering free access to a wealth of Philippine history materials. This includes significant works like Jose Rizal’s ‘Noli Me Tangere’ and ‘El Filibusterismo’ in Tagalog and Spanish. The site features 32 collections, including contributions from historian Xiao Chua and the National Library of the Philippines, although some materials are only accessible on-site due to copyright concerns.
On Monday, the (NHCP) unveiled the Memory Project, a website that contains free Philippine history materials including the Tagalog and Spanish versions of Jose Rizal’s Noli Me Tangere and El Filibusterismo.
There are 32 collections available to the public, including historian Xiao Chua’s, the National Library of the Philippines Contribution, and Volumes 1-9 of the NHCP Journal of Philippine Local History and Heritage.
