French ambassador Jacques Pellet announced this collaboration, following discussions between King Norodom Sihamoni and French President Emmanuel Macron. The project, involving French museum experts, will include relocating the Royal University of Fine Arts to make way for the museum’s expansion, aiming to enhance the display of artifacts with comprehensive information, elevating the museum experience.
France is set to dispatch museum experts to assist in the restoration and expansion of the National Museum of Cambodia.
