Some more news about the Bihar Angkor Wat that will probably unsettle many Cambodians, the Bihar Mahavir Mandir Trust, which is overseeing the project announced that the temple will be increased from 222 feet at the sides to 360 feet!

Besides being the world’s largest Hindu temple, the proposed Viraat Angkor Wat Ram Mandir project in Bihar’s Vaishali district would have the tallest ‘shikhar’ (spire) in the world, the Bihar Mahavir Mandir Trust (BMMT) said here today. BMMT secretary Acharya Kishore Kunal said the temple would be made larger than what had earlier been decided. The temple would be 360 feet long, 360 feet wide and 270 feet tall to make it the largest Hindu temple with the tallest spire in the world, he told reporters. Combodia’s Angkor Wat temple is now the world’s largest temple.
