Documentations of the Thang Long Imperial Citadel have been completed as a step towards the UNESCO’s recognition as world cultural heritage.
After the royal citadel was recognised as a national historical and architectural relic site in late 2007, the file’s preparation was carried out carefully with the participation of prestigious foreign and local scientists, including those from the Vietnam-Japan Experts’ Joint Committee, the Ile region of France and UNESCO.
