SEAArch | Southeast Asian Archaeology (SEAArch) started in 2006 as a human-run aggregator for archaeology news in Southeast Asia and a resource guide aiming to cover all aspects of aspects of archaeology in Southeast Asia. This website is run on a personal capacity by Noel Hidalgo Tan, referred to in the first person in the rest of this text.

Besides news, the following are typical things that get posted on this website:

• Links to research papers from reputable journals
• Job listings
• Notices of public events such as talks and lectures
• Basically, any related to the archaeology of Southeast Asia provided it is credible and/or timely or useful.

I welcome link suggestions, but they are published on this site at my discretion. I apologise in advance for any errors that may be posted on this website. I will resolve to correct inaccuracies quickly and appropriately when alerted to them.

2. Links to Other Websites

This site contain links to third-party web sites or services that are not owned or controlled by myself. I have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third party web sites or services. News reports are current at the time of posting, but in some cases the links may become inactive or its contents may change after a period of time has elapsed. The presence of any link does not imply endorsement, and the use of any linked website is at the user’s own risk.

I try not to post the full story online, and I believe that the republishing snippets of news falls under the category of fair use with attribution. Additionally, I am increasingly trying to post news that is not in English, but this capacity is limited as I do not have a working competency in the other languages.
